PTOPMESH COMMAND is  a GENERATOR COMMAND of the GENESIS. 

It is a generator of straight meshes. It can produce cylindrical, conical, pyramid or flat meshes without any limitation.
 
 
EXAMPLE

A typical conical transmission gear wheel.
The final desired result. 
The drawn up input polylines that will be processed by PTOPMESH  to get the mesh.
This is the mesh of the gear tooth surface plus the internal components.
